Music: Underoath - Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape
Oh, hello there. I didn’t see you there. I bet you’re surprised to see this new entry here. Actually, probably not, since this is probably the first time you’ve ever been to this site because the few people who may have “regularly” - that’s how you spell that right? haha.. That actually took me a minute or two to check around to make sure that’s how you spell it! I’m cool like that. - Oh wow. I think I may have overused the ” - “. (That’s not a smiley, btw.) I guess you’re not allowed to just put a ” - ” in and then write a few sentences in, then another ” - ” and expect the reader to just remember what was going on beforehand and continue reading regularly. (Anyone noticing a random-esque theme with this writing?) Okay.. so.. back to… ah yes. The people who may have been “regulars” are long gone and I can’t blame them. This entry is coming in just 5 days short of the 2 month point. Talk about active blogger, eh? “Eh?” How stereotypical of me, a Canadian, to say. I’m not gonna lie, I probably do say that quite often, though it kind of blends in with me talking so I don’t really notice it. Definitely don’t say “aboot” though for “about,” just incase you were wondering.
Wow, this is random. I thought I’d give a break for you in between the randomness, but I think, unintentionally, this may have just added to the random-factor. Don’t worry, I’m not hopped up on pills or anything like that. Well, I guess I could be hopped up on Penicillin, since I have a sinus infection or something of the sort. I’m quite convinced it isn’t helping though. Maybe I have the flu too. Can that happen? Two different things. Going by House, it can, which is what I’ll go by.
So anyways, it’s been pretty cold here lately. Well not really lately, but I have to talk in terms of months, so in the last month, it’s been considerably colder than it was, if I recall correctly, than it was on… Oct. 16. That only makes sense though, since it is December and I do live in Canada, as previously mentioned. The last week or so has warmed up a bit though, which is nice. *knocks on wood*
Okay, so perhaps you’re wondering… “what the hell have you been up to which has kept you away for 2 months?!” My answer: nothing too much. I wasn’t off “finding myself” or anything of the sort like you might be thinking. I didn’t take time away from the computer because I have a new-found life. I was still on the computer, it just seems like I never got around to writing one of these entry-mabobs out. Here I am, though, so everything’s good to go.
This entry is going to be long. Well it’s probably long right now. But it’s getting longer by the second. So anyone who comes is probably going to be like “Hey, he blogged!” followed by the “Holy shit, did he ever,” followed by the moving onto a website with a reasonably lengthed blog to read. Moving on…
School has been pretty uneventful from what I can recall over the past couple of the months. It has lately anyways. Tomorrow, my physics class is taking a little field trip over to one of the elementary schools in town to do some science demos. That should be pretty exciting, as long as the little kids don’t start “hating on me.” Whatevs, they’re just haters. haha.
This past weekend was quite amusing. My parents were gone to Edmonton to move some of my sister’s stuff, so I was here all by my lonesome. “Party?!” No, not in my house. On Friday I just hung out at a friend’s house with some people. And then a whole bunch of random people started showing up because they heard people were over. Like, it wasn’t supposed to be a “party” at all. Just a few people hanging out. But then a bunch of people who we barely knew started coming. Like, what goes through people’s heads? I know, unless it was supposed to be an actual party, that I wouldn’t just show up at someone I barely knew’s house to get drunk. Like.. awkward much? Maybe if it was me and a bunch of people, but not like me and a friend or two just walking in. That didn’t really make much sense. I’m just trying to say that unless it was actually a “part-ay” I wouldn’t just barge in unannounced.
On Saturday I hung out at a different friend’s house, but with a lot of the same people as on Friday. We all had a good time. Somewhere in the process, we broke the couch (it was old. It was its time.) and someone fell down the stairs. Not in a particularly painful way or anything. They were fine, it was just.. really funny. When we left, I went to one of the friends who I was hanging out with’s place. There were some amusing stories from that night, but I have a feeling they were all “had to be there” type of moments. You’d actually probably have to know the people too. Oh well.
I’ll be spending Christmas in Hawaii with my family this year. We leave on the 21st, I believe. Knowing me - and I like to think I know myself pretty well - this will be the last time you hear from me before then. So, assuming that I’m right, I’ll wish everyone Happy Holidays. Hopefully I will get in an entry before New Year’s. Hopefully.
Travis out.

Music: Hawthorne Heights - Saying Sorry
Edit: Domain hosting has at last been reopened to the public. /Edit.
I’ve been wanting to write a post on here for days but it just kept slipping my mind and getting put off. But here I am, now. So it’s all good.
I’ve got two weeks of classes left before finals, and then there’s five days of finals. I’ve got 4 finals to write this semester. In order: Math, Science, English and Wellness. (Phys Ed.) I’ve got an exemption so I’ll probably end up using it for Science since I’ve already got a good mark in that class. So that means I’ll only have to write 3 of those 4. I’ll still be there until the last day of finals though, just because of the order we have to write them in.
Early last week I watched Last Comic Standing. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen the show, but I’m a big fan of stand-up comedy, so I like it. Some of the people on there are hilarious. Anyone been watching So You Think You Can Dance? Some of the things people do on there are just crazy. As you can see, I’ve resorted to contest-esque shows since all of the other shows I watch are done for the season.
Yesterday I watched Rumor Has It and Firewall. They were both not too bad. I thought the ending on Firewall just sort of cut everything off, though. I thought the rest of it was pretty good though. The grandma in Rumor Has It was my favorite in the movie. Both of the movies were an alright watch, in my opinion.

Music: Something Corporate - Konstantine
I’m still sick. -sigh- Today was a weird one, health-wise. I was incredibly warm all morning, and I finally cooled off in the afternoon. But just before that happened, I felt really nauseous. So for about an hour or so, the two were mixed. After that, the heat thing faded, and awhile after that, so did the nausea.
Aside from the sickness part of it, school was pretty good today. It’s the time in the semester when all of the drama classes perform a period’s worth of skits for classes who get invited to watch. AKA the Drama Collectives. Me being in drama, my class performed in period 2. We’ve been working on the 10 or so skits for about a month now, so for us, they’ve lost all of their humor. The skits themselves are apparently still funny though, because we got lots of laughs from the crowd of about 140 people. Keep in mind, everyone’s jammed into a little drama room, so it was really packed. It’s not an actual theater or anything. We’ll be performing them once again on Monday.
I’ve started replying to comments that make sense to reply too. So if you ask me something or say something that it would make sense for me to say something back too, check back after awhile and see if I’m written anything back. The comments I make show up a little differently. (Thanks to the cool people at nuMB for helping with that. ~*)
I feel like watching a movie, but I don’t know which one. It’ll have to be something I own, since I’m not about to drive into town just to rent a couple of movies. Well, I could do it, but no. I won’t. If only my sister didn’t have most of the good movies with her in Edmonton, this decision wouldn’t be nearly as difficult to make. I guess I’ll figure something out. Goodnight.

Music: Cartel - A
A new layout at last! I’ve taken my shot at one of these types of layouts, and here it is. Featured is Cartel and lyrics from their song, “A.” The same lyrics are also in, “Burn This City,” also by them. Along with the new layout, I’ve updated the info on the Domain Related and About Travis sections of the site, so check those out. Don’t forgot to let me know what you think about the layout. <3
Though I’m a bit late on this subject, Tomkat’s baby was born awhile back. Not to try to offend anyone or anything, but personally, the whole Scientology thing is just a tad weird. A baby being born in complete silence just doesn’t seem right. Apparently the doctors and nurses were instructed to use sign language throughout the procedure. Wow.
Last week there was no school due to Easter holidays, and there’s also no school tomorrow - Friday. I’m not quite sure on the reasoning for tomorrow - I’ve heard that it’s something to do with the shop teachers - but I’m not going to worry about it too much. A day off is a day off. However, the day won’t be completely useless as I’ll be DJing a dance at another school in town. One that actually has class tomorrow. Suckers.
I had an English test yesterday on Romeo And Juliet. Oh joy. I didn’t find the test too bad, so hopefully when we get our marks back on Monday, it’ll be a good one. Throughout reading the play, our teacher was constantly pointing out the perverted parts. Creepy? I also had a test in Math today. It was alright. I think hope I’ll get a decent mark on it.

Music: Taking Back Sunday - Ghost Man On Third
My life seems to be incredibly boring considering I haven’t written an entry here for nearly a month, and now, when I do try to cook one up, nothing exciting comes to mind. I still need a new layout, which I’ve yet to start on. Nobody comes here anymore anyways, and it seems as if I’ve somewhat lost interest in this site. We’ll see. Some sort of hiatus may be on it’s way.
A friend of mine, actually a few of them, were running for different elected positions on our school SRC. I helped one of them, who was running for Female Vice-President, with her video. All of the candidates need to come up with a short 5 minute video that gets shown to the entire school before everyone votes. Most of the videos from the past and present just comprise of random, stupid things, which most of the time, turn out to be hilarious. Most of the videos this year were actually really good, unlike last year where only 1 or 2 were decent. The video I helped with was pretty random, but it was editted well - by me. No, I’m not just conceited, I got a lot of compliments on the editting of it after everyone saw it. The video had some random playing music for money in the mall, a party-boy-esque (from Jackass) in one of the clothing stores here, a belly flop into a pool among other random things. In the end, everything worked out and seemed to fit together, though - so it was all good. There were lots of laughs throughout.
Hopefully I’ll be able to pull together another entry sometime before another month has passed.
