Music: Underoath - Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape
Oh, hello there. I didn’t see you there. I bet you’re surprised to see this new entry here. Actually, probably not, since this is probably the first time you’ve ever been to this site because the few people who may have “regularly” - that’s how you spell that right? haha.. That actually took me a minute or two to check around to make sure that’s how you spell it! I’m cool like that. - Oh wow. I think I may have overused the ” - “. (That’s not a smiley, btw.) I guess you’re not allowed to just put a ” - ” in and then write a few sentences in, then another ” - ” and expect the reader to just remember what was going on beforehand and continue reading regularly. (Anyone noticing a random-esque theme with this writing?) Okay.. so.. back to… ah yes. The people who may have been “regulars” are long gone and I can’t blame them. This entry is coming in just 5 days short of the 2 month point. Talk about active blogger, eh? “Eh?” How stereotypical of me, a Canadian, to say. I’m not gonna lie, I probably do say that quite often, though it kind of blends in with me talking so I don’t really notice it. Definitely don’t say “aboot” though for “about,” just incase you were wondering.
Wow, this is random. I thought I’d give a break for you in between the randomness, but I think, unintentionally, this may have just added to the random-factor. Don’t worry, I’m not hopped up on pills or anything like that. Well, I guess I could be hopped up on Penicillin, since I have a sinus infection or something of the sort. I’m quite convinced it isn’t helping though. Maybe I have the flu too. Can that happen? Two different things. Going by House, it can, which is what I’ll go by.
So anyways, it’s been pretty cold here lately. Well not really lately, but I have to talk in terms of months, so in the last month, it’s been considerably colder than it was, if I recall correctly, than it was on… Oct. 16. That only makes sense though, since it is December and I do live in Canada, as previously mentioned. The last week or so has warmed up a bit though, which is nice. *knocks on wood*
Okay, so perhaps you’re wondering… “what the hell have you been up to which has kept you away for 2 months?!” My answer: nothing too much. I wasn’t off “finding myself” or anything of the sort like you might be thinking. I didn’t take time away from the computer because I have a new-found life. I was still on the computer, it just seems like I never got around to writing one of these entry-mabobs out. Here I am, though, so everything’s good to go.
This entry is going to be long. Well it’s probably long right now. But it’s getting longer by the second. So anyone who comes is probably going to be like “Hey, he blogged!” followed by the “Holy shit, did he ever,” followed by the moving onto a website with a reasonably lengthed blog to read. Moving on…
School has been pretty uneventful from what I can recall over the past couple of the months. It has lately anyways. Tomorrow, my physics class is taking a little field trip over to one of the elementary schools in town to do some science demos. That should be pretty exciting, as long as the little kids don’t start “hating on me.” Whatevs, they’re just haters. haha.
This past weekend was quite amusing. My parents were gone to Edmonton to move some of my sister’s stuff, so I was here all by my lonesome. “Party?!” No, not in my house. On Friday I just hung out at a friend’s house with some people. And then a whole bunch of random people started showing up because they heard people were over. Like, it wasn’t supposed to be a “party” at all. Just a few people hanging out. But then a bunch of people who we barely knew started coming. Like, what goes through people’s heads? I know, unless it was supposed to be an actual party, that I wouldn’t just show up at someone I barely knew’s house to get drunk. Like.. awkward much? Maybe if it was me and a bunch of people, but not like me and a friend or two just walking in. That didn’t really make much sense. I’m just trying to say that unless it was actually a “part-ay” I wouldn’t just barge in unannounced.
On Saturday I hung out at a different friend’s house, but with a lot of the same people as on Friday. We all had a good time. Somewhere in the process, we broke the couch (it was old. It was its time.) and someone fell down the stairs. Not in a particularly painful way or anything. They were fine, it was just.. really funny. When we left, I went to one of the friends who I was hanging out with’s place. There were some amusing stories from that night, but I have a feeling they were all “had to be there” type of moments. You’d actually probably have to know the people too. Oh well.
I’ll be spending Christmas in Hawaii with my family this year. We leave on the 21st, I believe. Knowing me - and I like to think I know myself pretty well - this will be the last time you hear from me before then. So, assuming that I’m right, I’ll wish everyone Happy Holidays. Hopefully I will get in an entry before New Year’s. Hopefully.
Travis out.

Music: Filmmaker - Breathing Room
It’s been awhile since I’ve written anything here. Apparently I’ve just been occupied with other things until now.
A week ago and a bit ago, meaning not this past Wednesday but the one before that, my school’s SRC, which I’m part of, went to a provincial conference. It was a pretty good time. Basically all we did was listen to speakers, but they all had interesting things to say, so it didn’t really get boring or anything. My billet family was pretty cool. Luckily I wasn’t stuck with some old creeper people. haha. We got back home around 6pm on that Friday.
On Monday, since I had missed the passed couple of days of school - one of those days involving a test in Physics - I had to write that test, which I didn’t study for, as usual. I did much better than I felt I had done. I was happy with the 88 I got.
I seem to have picked up a bit of a cold somtime around Wednesday or Thursday of this past week. It’s nothing too bad, but it’s irritating. Hopefully it’ll clear up pretty soon. Perhaps a night on the town tonight will help? I think so. I was too lazy to bother heading out yesterday, so hopefully that’ll happen tonight. haha.
The season premier of Grey’s Anatomy was on Thursday. I was really pumped for it, but I was definitely at least a little disappointed with the episode. Oh well. I still love the show and will continue to wath it faithfully. Also on Thursday was the season premier of CSI. Just regular ‘ole CSI in Vegas. One of the ‘cases’ involved a Cirque du Soleil show, or so the info on my satellite said. That sort of drew me into the show, and got me curious as to whether they’d be in one of the real theaters. When the camera showed the audience area of the theater, I was greeted with a familiar space - the KA theater, which I was in when I was in Las Vegas last November. (It was really cool, by the way.) Not really a big deal, but I thought it was pretty cool that I’d been there. haha. :P
That’s about all I have to say… so… yeah. Ta ta.

The smell in my car (read my previous entry if you don’t know what I’m referring to) seems to have gone away. Me washing down the mats with the hose seems to have helped considerably. My parents haven’t seemed to notice so all seems to be okay.
I watched Blow earlier today with Johnny Depp. I haven’t seen the (entire) movie in years and I forgot how good it was. Well, in my opinion, anyways. You should watch it if you haven’t already.
I’ve got a dentist appointment tomorrow in the AM, so that means me and mother dearest have to leave here around 7:15-7:30 to get there in time. (I go to a dentist in another city, by the way. That’s why we have to leave so early.) Some people really hate the dentist, though personally I don’t have too much of a problem with it. Really the biggest problem about the situation is that I’m going to have to wake up much earlier than I’d like to. Oh well. I haven’t been out of my little hick town for awhile so I guess a little day trip will be nice.
Has anybody heard Snakes On A Plane (Bring It) by Cobra Starship? It’s got members of a few different bands, including the lead singer of The Academy Is…. I find the tune quite catchy and I couldn’t stop listening to it for a few days. It’s (obviously) for the new movie, Snakes On A Plane. Dar dar dar.
I think that’s about all for now. Ta ta.

I’m still sick. -sigh- Today was a weird one, health-wise. I was incredibly warm all morning, and I finally cooled off in the afternoon. But just before that happened, I felt really nauseous. So for about an hour or so, the two were mixed. After that, the heat thing faded, and awhile after that, so did the nausea.
Aside from the sickness part of it, school was pretty good today. It’s the time in the semester when all of the drama classes perform a period’s worth of skits for classes who get invited to watch. AKA the Drama Collectives. Me being in drama, my class performed in period 2. We’ve been working on the 10 or so skits for about a month now, so for us, they’ve lost all of their humor. The skits themselves are apparently still funny though, because we got lots of laughs from the crowd of about 140 people. Keep in mind, everyone’s jammed into a little drama room, so it was really packed. It’s not an actual theater or anything. We’ll be performing them once again on Monday.
I’ve started replying to comments that make sense to reply too. So if you ask me something or say something that it would make sense for me to say something back too, check back after awhile and see if I’m written anything back. The comments I make show up a little differently. (Thanks to the cool people at nuMB for helping with that. ~*)
I feel like watching a movie, but I don’t know which one. It’ll have to be something I own, since I’m not about to drive into town just to rent a couple of movies. Well, I could do it, but no. I won’t. If only my sister didn’t have most of the good movies with her in Edmonton, this decision wouldn’t be nearly as difficult to make. I guess I’ll figure something out. Goodnight.

Music: Hidden In Plain View - The Innocent Ones
I hate being sick. My throat was a tad sore on Sunday afternoon. Monday, it was still a bit sore. Tuesday, when I woke up it was pretty sore, but later in the day, I didn’t notice it anymore. Today, Wednesday, it wasn’t too bad this morning, but in the afternoon it got quite sore, and has stayed like so for the past few hours. Honestly, throat, what’s your deal? Get not-sore again.
The season finale of American Idol was on tonight. No, I don’t watch it. I just thought I’d lead you on a bit. Oh dear, I’m just so silly.
It rained basically all day today, which somewhat got to me since I just washed my car yesterday. Oh well. Shit happens. At school, there’s a Track Meet going on today and tomorrow. It’s an annual thing, and it pretty much goes on no matter what, so the rain didn’t really have an effect on it. A couple years ago it was snowing for hours before they finally called it quits for the day. I was there that year as a timing-judge-person and I remember when I got home, I was completely soaked, and I’m pretty sure I was sick within a couple days after that. Anyways, so I have Phys. Ed. in 6th period, so our teacher got us to go outside and watch Track. Me, along with most of my class didn’t have any jackets because the day had started out really nice, so we all got to stand outside in the rain, getting soaked. I’m sure that really helped the me-being-sick situation. /sarcasm.
-sigh- I wanted to go to the school talent show which was on tonight. No, not to show off my amazing dance skills. (har har har) Just to watch. Usually it ends up being pretty good. I figured I’d probably be better off in the end if I didn’t go, though. I can barely talk anyways, so I guess it wouldn’t have been too much fun for me.
