Random & Long
Music: Underoath - Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape

Oh, hello there. I didn’t see you there. I bet you’re surprised to see this new entry here. Actually, probably not, since this is probably the first time you’ve ever been to this site because the few people who may have “regularly” - that’s how you spell that right? haha.. That actually took me a minute or two to check around to make sure that’s how you spell it! I’m cool like that. - Oh wow. I think I may have overused the ” - “. (That’s not a smiley, btw.) I guess you’re not allowed to just put a ” - ” in and then write a few sentences in, then another ” - ” and expect the reader to just remember what was going on beforehand and continue reading regularly. (Anyone noticing a random-esque theme with this writing?) Okay.. so.. back to… ah yes. The people who may have been “regulars” are long gone and I can’t blame them. This entry is coming in just 5 days short of the 2 month point. Talk about active blogger, eh? “Eh?” How stereotypical of me, a Canadian, to say. I’m not gonna lie, I probably do say that quite often, though it kind of blends in with me talking so I don’t really notice it. Definitely don’t say “aboot” though for “about,” just incase you were wondering.

Wow, this is random. I thought I’d give a break for you in between the randomness, but I think, unintentionally, this may have just added to the random-factor. Don’t worry, I’m not hopped up on pills or anything like that. Well, I guess I could be hopped up on Penicillin, since I have a sinus infection or something of the sort. I’m quite convinced it isn’t helping though. Maybe I have the flu too. Can that happen? Two different things. Going by House, it can, which is what I’ll go by.

So anyways, it’s been pretty cold here lately. Well not really lately, but I have to talk in terms of months, so in the last month, it’s been considerably colder than it was, if I recall correctly, than it was on… Oct. 16. That only makes sense though, since it is December and I do live in Canada, as previously mentioned. The last week or so has warmed up a bit though, which is nice. *knocks on wood*

Okay, so perhaps you’re wondering… “what the hell have you been up to which has kept you away for 2 months?!” My answer: nothing too much. I wasn’t off “finding myself” or anything of the sort like you might be thinking. I didn’t take time away from the computer because I have a new-found life. I was still on the computer, it just seems like I never got around to writing one of these entry-mabobs out. Here I am, though, so everything’s good to go.

This entry is going to be long. Well it’s probably long right now. But it’s getting longer by the second. So anyone who comes is probably going to be like “Hey, he blogged!” followed by the “Holy shit, did he ever,” followed by the moving onto a website with a reasonably lengthed blog to read. Moving on…

School has been pretty uneventful from what I can recall over the past couple of the months. It has lately anyways. Tomorrow, my physics class is taking a little field trip over to one of the elementary schools in town to do some science demos. That should be pretty exciting, as long as the little kids don’t start “hating on me.” Whatevs, they’re just haters. haha.

This past weekend was quite amusing. My parents were gone to Edmonton to move some of my sister’s stuff, so I was here all by my lonesome. “Party?!” No, not in my house. On Friday I just hung out at a friend’s house with some people. And then a whole bunch of random people started showing up because they heard people were over. Like, it wasn’t supposed to be a “party” at all. Just a few people hanging out. But then a bunch of people who we barely knew started coming. Like, what goes through people’s heads? I know, unless it was supposed to be an actual party, that I wouldn’t just show up at someone I barely knew’s house to get drunk. Like.. awkward much? Maybe if it was me and a bunch of people, but not like me and a friend or two just walking in. That didn’t really make much sense. I’m just trying to say that unless it was actually a “part-ay” I wouldn’t just barge in unannounced.

On Saturday I hung out at a different friend’s house, but with a lot of the same people as on Friday. We all had a good time. Somewhere in the process, we broke the couch (it was old. It was its time.) and someone fell down the stairs. Not in a particularly painful way or anything. They were fine, it was just.. really funny. When we left, I went to one of the friends who I was hanging out with’s place. There were some amusing stories from that night, but I have a feeling they were all “had to be there” type of moments. You’d actually probably have to know the people too. Oh well.

I’ll be spending Christmas in Hawaii with my family this year. We leave on the 21st, I believe. Knowing me - and I like to think I know myself pretty well - this will be the last time you hear from me before then. So, assuming that I’m right, I’ll wish everyone Happy Holidays. Hopefully I will get in an entry before New Year’s. Hopefully.

Travis out.

Random and Long is a good title, and it was. But you know, you had to give a Travis update, didnt’ you? I am glad your life is going well, and you had some great parties that you got to hang out at while your parents are away. I hope your holidays are nice, and thank you for hosting me ;)

Upon OnHoliday.Org’s renewal period, I decided to move my blog to OnHoliday.Org - leaving OneFifty.Org vacant for whatever comes to mind. So (if you’ve linked me) please change your links to OnHoliday.Org. Thanks!

Hey Travis. Feels like we haven’t talked in forever :( Reading your entry, I really thought you were on crack for the most part. Haha. Good old you. So i guess you’re a pretty popular guy now aren’t you? No, no, i havent heard any incriminating stories about you or anything case your wondering. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas during your [second] time in Hawaii. See ya ’round.

Kristine

Travis!! I’m still here, though my domain (Antipathetic.Net) is officially dead. LOL
But no worries, I’m buying a domain soon….
Anyway, I enjoyed reading your entry because of its randomness… heh.
CHRISTMAS in Hawaii?? HAVE FUN!! I love Hawaii!!

Kristine

Guess who’s back?? Kristine is!! LOL!

If you have time, Travis, please edit the link.

That was like.. the longest blog I ever read in my life, besides Brandy’s of Walkaway.Nu (which I can’t be bothered to read much anymore). But omg, I’m glad you blogged regardless. I hope you had fun at the science demonstration for the little kids. Haha. I am incredibly jealous of you. You get to spend Christmas in Hawai’i. That’s awesome. I hope you’ve had a lovely time and I’ll keep checking back for updates here and there.

Katie

Woah. Long&random xD - the first paragraph there almost didn’t make sense :| Hope you had fun in Hawaii =]

Brandy

Like Scott said, it looks like you’re taking after me with these long blogs.
I’ve been like that before, where you just can’t be bothered sitting down and writing an entry. It’s something that you have to be willing to do. lol. Just because you’re on the computer, doesn’t mean you HAVE TO WRITE AN ENTRY.
You spent Christmas in Hawaii? Lucky you. I’ve always wanted to go there.
