Music: blink-182 - All Of This

The funeral for the person I wrote about in the previous entry was yesterday. It took place in a town about an hour and a half away from here. It’s where the girl was born. Even though it was out of town, there were still a lot of people who took the trip there - including me. I went there with a few friends, so there were some pretty fun times on the way there. I guess we were sort of subconsciously putting off what was coming up. The funeral was really tough. The whole thing didn’t really hit me until the casket was being wheeled out. The whole cemetary thing was so sad. A grandmother, I believe, at the cemetary completely broke down there and it was just heartbreaking. It just felt so weird that we were burying “one of us.” It shouldn’t be like that. Not now. I don’t know.

Changing subjects… who watched Grey’s Anatomy tonight?! Pretty intense. That’s pretty much all I”m going to say about the episode so don’t worry about spoilers if you don’t want to know what happened. I’ve yet to watch the final conclusion to The OC tonight. I’m not too concerned about it - if I see it, I see it - otherwise, no big deal. I’ve really lost interest in it, this season especially, and hearing that it got cancelled didn’t really surprise me.

Has anyone heard the new Anberlin album, Cities? I haven’t been able to pick up the disc yet since apparently it’s not released in Canada until next Tuesday, the week after initial release, but I do already have all the songs on my computer. I’m pretty happy with it. I’d have to say that my favorite song off the album is The Unwinding Cable Car so I suggest you give that a listen. You can hear that, along with the rest of the album on Anberlin’s myspace page.

That’s about all for now - Travis out.

Funerals are sad.. I don’t know what else to say. I was veryy interested in the OC before, and although I’ll be watching the finale, I’m not very obsessed either.

Have a nice day! :D

Kristine

I’ve been to two funerals already and it is not a good place to hang around.. I have never seen grown men cry .. and that’s where I’ve seen it.. It’s heartbreaking..

Phillip

I hope the funeral went alright. I’m sure there were a lot of tears and whatnot. I’m sorry to hear that happened.

I’ll be looking for another layout soon. It’s time for one Travis!

Oh God. Funerals are never going to be that easy to get through, but one like that must have been just terrible. I’m sure it was good that you made the trip up there though.

Mia

I’m sorry about the funeral, especially of someone so young. I’ve never been to a young persons funeral myself, but omg I couldn’t even try to imagine what it must be like for the family.

You have GREAT music taste, random BUT true!!!

Phillip

Tick tock, tick tock.
It’s time to blog, Travis!

Btw, I got an email change.

Lisa
